Arctic Human Dimensions

A presentation growing out of James’s Circling the Midnight Sun documentary and book project dedicated to putting a human face on climate change.  Images and stories of people throughout the circumpolar world are are set against the backdrop of causes of and responses to climate change in the mid-latitudes of the earth.  “Instead of thinking about taking light into the darkness of the north why not think about letting it out of the people who live there instead?”  The first version of this presentation was delivered in Iqaluit at the 2010 Canda-UK Colloquium entitled “The Arctic and Northern Dimensions of World Issues.”
